came with this note:
I was usually in charge as the oldest – kinda bossy. The two youngest, Sheila and Lizzie, often were forced to play the “lesser” part of make believe like pretending to be dogs! We used to play dress up with my grandmother’s clothes and put on plays for the family. We also used to play “Office” which involved us pretending to run a business. My grandfather had owned his own business so we were lucky to have all of the stuff left over from his retirement – we had calculators, paper, binders, etc. And we each had our own desks set up. Lastly, we played “Treasure Island” by the lake. There was a tree and a mossy area down on the shore where we would spend all day playing in and out of the water. Together the 5 of us had a lot of fun growing up and playing together.
I've seen pictures like these before, but it's cool how someone actually made a site for it. The anecdotes are sometimes interesting as well.
