It's still red and swollen, but it's done. Much less pain than the back. The character is the Korean Hangul which means "Satori" a Buddhist concept of sudden flash of enligHtenment. The tree is a Banyan, under which Buddha achieved enlightenment.

The concept was using the idea of enlightenment to honor my family (the initials) as they are the sun in my life, the center of it.

Took this one in better light which seemed to reduce the noise since the lens in my phone is likely very slow for the ISO it tries to emulate.
