What is Solace?
Solace is an interactive aesthetic experience utilizing dynamic audio and bullet hell overtones to provide a unique perspective on the five stages of grief. As the player journeys through each level, the game presents a musical and visual interpretation of each stage of grief representing a range of emotions. The game was developed by One Man Down, a game team from the DigiPen Institute of Technology.
Was referred to this from a review on G4 TV. As a scrolling shooter, it is nothing groundbreaking. But this game is best experienced with audio.
I actually described it as "mesmerizing" to Oonagh. It is definitely a unique experience, at least it's not like anything I have ever played.
It is a downloadable .exe file that installs the game. Give it a try. I thought it was really cool.
