The Glade 4.0

Spring officially has arrived. This seemed like a really long winter this year. Maybe because we didn't do a trip to someplace warm. I celebrated today by planting 2 new trees in the yard. Two new Cercis Canadensis, I hope I get some blooms from them next month.

I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil

I have 3 blueberry plants to get in the ground this week, and a ton of weeding, mowing, and chopping ahead. Got to get my mowers and weeders cleaned up and working.

I don't look forward to the heat, sweat, dust, and bugs. The pollen has already hit hard.....yaye Zyrtec

It's snowing here, for the first time in over a week.



Lots of snow actually forecast for this coming week, but let's hope that this is the last snow I see for a long time. :p Spring is the best of all seasons come late April or so once everything starts to get properly lush. Nice warm misty morning... or right after a light warm rain... nothing is better.

Entering the 6 months of summer here. :/

Yeah, I'm not too stoked about spring here...I rather enjoyed the long winter of many snows. (3 snows of 1-3 inches only happens once every 10 years here.)
Our past couple of days it's been well into the 80s and it's only March. Definitely not looking forward to the long, harsh summer of extreme heat and humidity. Bleh.
