The whole business is going down the drain. I've seen this on the horizon for some time now hence the no avatar for a quite a while.

Hail...to giving in to the health nuts.

Damn Farsky just beat me to the punch with this! First the clown, now the king? Is Wendy and the Sanders leaving as well?

I wonder if they will hump it up as badly as McDonald's...

They should stand up and offer to be the alternative to the health humping McDonald's

When I saw mascot in the link, I automatically thought of the fubar at Ole Miss. :x

But that's another story.......stupid bears, bring back my colonel.

As for BK.....bleh. I don't eat fast food anymore, but I do miss the days when BK had the paper crowns, McD's had the hamburgler, and Wendy's had the old newspaper tables. Ch-ch-changes, I guess. Where's the beef?!

Oh well, I'll just stick to my local fast food joints, where fat is fat, grease is grease, and if you eat a huge combo meal you take a couple of years off your life. Mmmmmm good. One of our local chains, Ward's, when you get your order the bottom of the paper bag is soaked in grease. Now that's good fast food!

BK has been marketing themselves as the anti-health alternative to the 'healthy' (meh) McDonalds. Foisting stuff like triple patty bacon cheese burgers and such..

Apparently it's not working...

The BK my SO and I went to for breakfast the other day actually had the paper crowns, couple of kids went over and asked for one and got one. I looked at Lisa and said "**** sweet, I wonder if they would give me one too!"

But they did not.

I've never liked BK to begin with, but this is still sad to me.

Which hamburglar? The original creepy one that gave kids nightmares, or the cutesy cop-out when they tried to make the nightmares cease?

The original, since that is when I was a kid. I remember the first McD's when it arrived in our area, circa early 70's.

Maybe he's be surreptitiously hired by Jaromir Jagr?
