The Glade 4.0

Truth.

I had something called atrial fibrilation at work about 0230 on Monday morning (Halloween, no less). We were working a group, and I suddenly realized my heart was pounding much more than it should have been, and then that it was hard to see. I started making my way back to my truck thinking I might be dehydrated, when I realized I couldn't breathe very well. I made it to the truck and turned it on so my partner could see where I was and called him on the radio. He sprinted a quarter mile back to the truck (props!) and took me to the hospital.

Once I got there and they figured out what was going on with me (when I first got to the ER they thought I had been shot) they gave me some sort of shot and a pill that got my heartbeat back to normal. I ended up staying in the hospital 2 more days, but fortunately the cardiologist says there's apparently nothing wrong with my heart and he can't explain why it happend. I'm on beta blockers and cholsterol pills and asprin for 6 months and can go back to work on Tuesday.

I did, however, thankfully, have clean underwear on.

Not me. Every time I go to the doctor, I like to drop a fresh turd in mine to give him something to work around, and to keep the conversation lively.

Huh, glad you're OK, DE. I always figure that (a) I'm way less gross than any bomzh off the street can be, and (b) if I'm headed for the ER, I'm probably not gonna care if I have Polack underwear. (Sorry, kid's joke from the 60s. Not even sure if that's the right spelling of "Polack".)
