 Post subject: Bumper sticker confusion

Is is a mark of a good or bad bumper sticker if it makes the viewer look up what statement it is actually making?

On my drive to work, I saw a bumper sticker that said "Obamanos!" and nothing else. My first thought was something related to dominoes, but that didn't make sense. Next, I figured it was a portmanteau of Obama and the Spanish "vamanos". Not knowing the exact translation, I'm still not quite sure what the hell it's saying.

*positively* "Let's go, Obama!"

or

*negatively* "Go (leave) Obama!"

Upon my searching, it seems that it is a positive message for Obama, but not knowing Spanish it took that bit of research to figure that out.

Bumper stickers aren't supposed to be that much work. Damn, now I'm burnt out for the rest of the workday.

The best are those "tell mom" or "how's my driving" stickers for teenagers.

It's a great idea, but I have to say if one of my friends had one in HS, I'd have messed with him.
