You are not old, you just have character. Also, good for you. Be true to yourself.

Been with my guy for just over 10 years. He's working for the DoD, I'm still working (21 years!) for the same pharma company.

Teen has severe anxiety and ODD. School attendance is bad. We just started a new school year, and ze is officially doing part cyber classes, part in-person classes at the high school. Cross your fingers!

Haven't been able to fence much. Plantar fasciitis and bone spurs kinda suck. But I managed to fight in all but one of the big melee rapier battles at Pennsic and in my household's tournament. So woo.

We are owned by 3 cats and 6 parrots (just had 3 budgies die, sigh), and have 2 realllllly old dwarf hamsters hanging on.

Still married. Daughter is approaching 6 years old. Decent job with coworkers I get along with.

Somewhat recently played in a P&P RPG game as an ogre ranger named Numbuk Rangerfriend. Did the voice and grammar and everything. I've been told by one of my long-time gaming groupmates that Numbuk is currently her favorite character that I've played. So that was nice to hear, and it was nice to revisit embodying him... as well as bashing a bunch of dumbheads. Made me miss a lot of you folks.

Feeling a bit blah because I have no MMO "comfort food" right now. WoW's latest expansion really was a downer for me and I pulled the ripcord on it very, very early. But considering their expansions follow the same rule as Star Trek movies, this next one should be better.

Heading to Disneyland next week. My wife and daughter have never been there. I am looking forward to that.

Found out a few years ago that my best friend from high school had passed away.... 11 years prior. Hit me like a mack truck. He had really helped me through a very bad depression and was one of the few people who got to see my weird sense of humor cranked all the way to 100%, when I usually dial it down for most people... and he still accepted me.

Overall just a normal, boring, middle-aged gamer life. Definitely not as harsh as many of you have had, and I wish you folks all the wellness that I can.

Stayin alive. Son is 6. Re-married wife. I put life on hard-mode, that's why I played a Ranger. (or maybe I'm too slow to switch to another class?) Getting Bachelors.

Small update...started a new job. Loving it and the upgrade in pay. Still have not found a way to talk to women but I am surrounded by them now. Working in a hospital... It has been very interesting.
