No, it's not our winter guests from Canada thankfully, these perpetrators are found above the treeline in the mountains of New Zealand.

The Mountain Parrot or Kea, long thought the most playful and mischievous of parrots, have now shown their darker side. Having been gang-pecked by Conures before this comes as no great surprise.

Creepy though. What's on your perch?
