yeah, I sorta said that.

Einstein would have a fit, just the same. Not only does "God play dice," but the dice are loaded.

I chose "good", because as a Christian I do not believe "luck" exists in the way it is thought of nowadays. Nothing happens that God does not allow, and it seems to me that luck has nothing to do with it.

Doesn't that negate the entire concept of free-will? I didn't think christianity was down with predestination?

Which is especially ammusing with how christians condem people for certain things, like being gay, cause if god does exist and nothing happens she/he doesn't allow then it doesn't go against her/his will, and if it does go against her/his will then god is fallible or not omnipotent, of course if god did exist I would go with the former and it's humans and the writing and further interpitation of the bible and what's right and wrong that's fallible.

But you can't prove that nothing happens, Scripture says that judgment comes after death. At that point, according to Scripture, there will only be a single division of humanity: the redeemed, and the unredeemed.

In this life, the rule of God is simple and to the point: "Don't do that, you'll hurt yourself." when you strip away all the details. "Don't commit adultery, you'll hurt yourself" "Don't commit murder, you'll hurt yourself." "Don't deal deceitfully with your spouse, you'll hurt yourself." "Don't drink in excess, you'll hurt yourself." On and on, all meant to give us a life of happiness and contentment. But too often we trade a lifetime of happiness and contentment for the temporary pleasure of "Do that", rather than "Don't", only to find down the road that it has led to heartache and pain and suffering and misery. Look at Tiger Woods. The man is a gazillionaire, but do you really think at this moment he is happy? I do not. He traded happiness and contentment for the pleasure of sin, and it has cost him in ways that gazillions will never get back for him. He will bear these scars the rest of his life.

THAT is free will.

The question is flawwed.

Luck is the place where preperation meets opportunity.
