I couldn't find any of the Glissade, and the Sierra Nevada one that said it tasted like bananas kinda scared me (it had a couple long, German names), so . . .
I settled on Dos Equis Lager Especial.
My rating =
Has a "sour" (for lack of a better term) up front taste, but has a nice after-taste. Nice effervescent texture. Not the greatest beer I've had, but enjoyable.
I really really like Heineken, which is making this experiment difficult.
http://www.sierranevada.com/beers/paleale.htmlEverything the put out is unbelievable. The Glissade is the spring seasonal, so if you ask your local package store about getting some, they likely can and will with ease. As far as the one with hints banana, I've never heard of it, and I can't find it on their website. If you wouldn't mind telling me what the name is, I'm going to have to track some down and try it. They haven't failed me yet.
Edit: Ohhh, nm... that's the Kellerweis. It's a hefeweizen, and it's fearkin delicious if you enjoy a good one.
