That song that goes "I'm standin' on a runway at LAX . . . and a Brtiney song was on, and a Britney song was on." I don't even know the name of the song or the person who sings it.

fyi this is "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. (my daughter's 2nd cousin (3rd?), actually, I get a pass for knowing this)

So much hate for country music yet the genre has so many talented artists.

Anything in the industrial, death metal area. Sorry, turning your amps to 11 and screaming at the top of your lungs does not make you talented nor a joy to listen too.

I'm not allowed to hate the Firefly song but if I were, it would be on my list.

Anything by Neil Young. I hate that guy.

I shall have to send you some non-rage Metal; right after I remind myself to pay Near Ground's CD in the mail.

Virtually all rap.
Virtually all "R&B" (not actual rhythm and blues music, but this crap that's termed "R&B").
Virtually all J-pop.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I like metal. But that crazy stuff just ain't me.

Even though I'm a huge metal fan, Dragonforce is one of my least favorite bands. They don't get any radio play, but I know a few people who listen to them religiously.

I liked Through the Fire and Flames when I first heard it. Then I listened to an entire album of theirs. It's pretty much exactly the same stuff that bleeds into the other stuff. I respect them being able to play like that.... but I generally don't sit back and listen to them because there is no diversity in their songs.

Speaking on the subject of metal, and since I am back in this thread, I don't go for the incoherent bear-growly death metal (or is that doom metal? I dunno). Which is kind of sad, because I'd actually make a very good singer for such a band.
