Lack of Hangover's one of the true rewards of rarely drinking and never drinking to excess.
Lack of hangover is God's way of telling you that you didn't party hard enough.
All in the way you look at it.
I partied plenty hard for a long time, then decided I wanted my life back. For me it was one of the other and I'm still paying the price for not stopping soon enough or practicing moderation. YMMV, and
have a hangover for me while you're at it. Of course, have the party beforehand.
Who, me? I can't have alcohol anymore. Part and parcel of my pet "sphincter of Oddi" dysfunction.
I've not had any of my beloved beer since Sam Adams Octoberfest last year. I drink water pretty much exclusively now, with the occasional Crystal Light when I want to get wild and wooly.
I was given the choice of taking pantoprazole and metoclopramide for the rest of my life as one alternative...surgery as another... but I'm not under any regular medication at all, my heart is in perfect shape, blood pressure is 120/80, and my cholesterol is normal. I decided to lose 50 lbs. (I had gotten up to 230) and exercise instead.
God has a way of telling folks to shape up or ship out, and I decided to listen.
