I was unable to orgasm through intercourse until after I gave birth (vaginally) to my first son. Sex got MUCH better after that. Ditto on sex after the birth of my second.

Nev, just my opinion, but I think epiostomy is done more so for the convenience of the Doctor alot of times. Makes it fast and tearing takes more time to stitch with more layers to repair. One cut easier and faster to repair. I have been present in deliveries that had a midwife and with different things she did, no cutting was necessary..but the delivery was much longer and drawn out. I am by no means expert on the subject, just observations and listening to other medical people talk about things. Btw if you ever want a recommendation for an OB/GYN, call your local hospital and talk to a L & D nurse..they see what happens and how the Dr reacts ect.

Hmm, it's probably like, an alternative to a C-section then. I've never even heard of this epiostomy. Right now I'm having the same feeling I got when I first found out what a colonoscopy was or a catheter was.
