So, I'm homeschooling my son and two other boys, (loooovin' it!) and after we finished our schoolwork we made some home-made Play-Doh and decided to make some snowmen ala Calvin&Hobbes.

Awwww....no throwing Hobbes away! He lives on in the next generation!! My 8 year old has been following in my footsteps and staying up late in bed reading Calvin & Hobbes books.
He has read every single one at least twice. I love hearing the giggles coming from his bedroom while he is reading and try to be stern when he comes out of bed for the fifth time, laughing, saying "Mom! Look what Calvin just did...."
It's great. I'm a very happy momma.

I thought it was a lot better than the other one, where Calvin goes on Ritalin and Hobbes turns back into a stuffed toy.

now that's just sad.

my x had my youngest on ritalin and I argued against it for several years. Finally my son was old enough to have an opinion and he stopped taking the stuff. Then my x died.

that story has a happy ending though.

:)
