She's a fighter and she knows what she wants in life....same as lara croft....but she smiles all the time, watch the video and listen to what she's saying, her attitude is completely positive. Alison and Angie on-screen together? I'm pretty sure that would have the same universe-collapsing effect as successfully dividing by zero.

I have no doubts that Angie would at least consider an adult version of Tomb Raider, not sure about Alison.

Shes hot, no question, but her moves suck, regardless of her ballet training. It just doesn't have any sort of believability that this person did any martial arts training.

Is this for a movie? Or just game cut scenes?

It's motion capture for a videogame.

Gymnasts translate very well into Martial Artists. It's just a different application of the same skill. Different facets of the same jewel. Just look at Tony Jaa.

Tony Jaa kicks ***. All the moves are realistic and most of them seem to be pretty effective. The filming style is also realistic! So yeah, gymnasts can be good martial artists.

The Lara Croft models aren't mo-cap subjects, TMK. Eidos just takes their marketing (photoshops, convention booth appearances, etc.) very seriously, and demands a high standard of their Lara Crofts. They've gone through, like, 6 of them to date, going way back to early Tomb Raider installments.

And Alison always seems serious because that's the character, and pretty much anytime you see photos of her, she's either training in an action shot (focussed), or in character because that's why they took the picture. Most of the Lara Croft models were not well known before they landed the gig, so you don't see "before" pictures (where they might not be posing as seriously) until after they've been retired as the Lara.
