N: Bozeman, MT, I think. (45.7N)
S & E: St. John, USVI (~27N, 97.7W)
W: San Francisco, CA (120W)

Elevation by air: Commercial cruising altitude
Ground elevation: I've passed through various mountain ranges by car, so I can't be sure, but I'd guess that the highest elevation I've been to was the summit of Antora Peak, CO (13,269 ft.)

Depth: Marianas Trench, once, in 1960, for 20 minutes

Seriously, though, probably no more than 15-20 feet below sea level, while snorkeling in St. John.

ARRRRH!

I was trying to hide the fact I haven't been too far from home ;)

I have aspirations of going to Europe and Australia in the next couple of years, but haven't yet been more than a handspan from the US so far.

You really should broaden your horizons Kirra. You need to see California, and (dammit, stop twisting the arm Mus, it just takes longer to type) Las Vegas.

East and West would be impossible to measure, as I've been on every major continent and most countries at some point during my military career.

South would be McMurdo Antarctica. North would probably be either Camp Raven (Greenland Ice Cap), or somewhere on the Alaska North Slope, whichever is further north.

My recruiter did.not.lie when he said I'd get to "see the world". My first 5 and a half years on active duty I was a C-130 crew chief, and I saw just about every flat spot on the planet. In those days C-130's were part of Tactical Air Command, and had a dedicated crew chief program just like the fighter guys have (crew chiefs name on the side of the plane and all that). The cool thing about C-130's is that crew chiefs were part of the flight crew and went anywhere their plane went. Chicks dig flight suits! :P

Too bad I didn't get frequent flyer miles.

Cool topic!

North: Fort Severn, Ontario (First Nation's reserve on the coast of Hudson's Bay) (roughly 56 degrees North)
South: St. Lucia in the Caribbean I believe
East: Tokyo, Japan
West: Rome, Italy

Up: disregarding a commercial flight, South Kanasaskis Pass in Peter Lougheed Park in Alberta (a couple hours west of Calgary). We hiked up to an elevation of 2306m (about 7500')
Down: I guess somewhere at sea level would be the most downward.
