Fox,
I'm doing my best to remember that artists used t sound nearly the same in concert as they did on the album - that memory is fading though.

Muse has consistently received high marks on their live shows sounding quite great. I was at one in 2007 and I can concur! I actually prefer to listen to their live stuff over album stuff, and I normally don't do that with music.

It was a great concert. Great meeting Huey too...pretty dang sexy after all these years, I gotta say. I just smiled and shook his hand. He said "My name is Huey" and I said "My name is Katie" and thats pretty much it. Short and sweet. Nitefox did pretty much the same.

CRIS was the database we AOLers had access to that contained everyone's info. It's what the guy used to find Sandra Bullock. Months later a few of us were kind of curious as to which celebrities actually used AOL or not. Trent Reznor? Never used it. But at least 50 people tried to fake being him. When it came time to bill the credit card, the name didn't match and the account was cancelled. Other celebrities who did use AOL at the dawn of the World Wide Web as we know it today? Valerie Britton Van Halen, Kirk Hammett, Jason Newstead, and Steve Vai.

Ahhh yes... CRIS abuse. Those were the days. I looked up many a celebrity, friend, and family member with that. Then some guys had to get a gay sailor ejected from the military by coaxing account info out of a phone rep and next thing you know, usage was getting audited.

I used to love those days of kicking people offline, disconnecting their screen names from their account, signing off with them, and then IM'ing their other names with it. I pissed off many a wannabe hacker that way.

I had heard that they had cracked down on that after I had left. Sad to hear. But then, it was a downward spiral after I left anyway for that company. It was fun for me while it lasted.
