Thanks again, everybody who expressed condolences, sympathy, sorrow, and offers of various assistance. It's all very appreciated. I wanted to take a few minutes to respond to a few of the more specific things that I'd let slide because it's still tough to talk about.

It would actually be jamming with the Ramones *again* right now, sort of. Back in the mid-90's, Amdee and the local band she sang for on and off played a song or two before the opening set at the Roxy. She got to meet her heroes (well, minus Dee Dee -- this was CJ era touring) backstage before the concert.

Indubitably. The products of her creativity, her imagination, her quirky associations.. they captivated me on a regular basis. I used to tell her that naming things was her superpower, but that was really only the tip of the iceberg. I really hope her mother will let me look for some of her poetry and short stories; I'd like to share a few with you all, her friends.

She loved to make people smile and laugh. She knew that people around here loved her lists, and used to spend days thinking them up, adding entries, and making sure everything was perfect. And then she'd feel mortified when somebody'd post "aww, I didn't make the list" and come up with an entry to edit back in even though she hated leaving edit marks..

She loved practicing, and appreciated all the advice and help. And as hard as it is for me to say it yet, nothing as trivial as Death could stop her from rocking out. It's who she was, to the core. (How else can you explain considering The Ramones music to listen to to calm down and mellow out?)

She did. And from me, thank you. That's not a song I'd heard before, but damn it hits close to home in so many ways. Amdee had a Ramones lyric for every occasion, and I don't know what she'd have pulled out on this one (Though, Khross, you might be close); but as far as I'm concerned, that SxDx song nails it.
