An artist named Nickolay Lamm used 3D printing to create a 'Barbie' with 'average' proportions of a sixteen year old girl.

This is an article I found in a random news feed, and was actually surprised to find that I think I prefer the 'average' version over the 'freak' that the actual barbie is.

The Mattel versions head looks freakishly large compared to the artist version.

Average Barbie looks just as disproportional to me.
