The Glade 4.0

Thought I would drop a line to the old board for those interested. I won't be around much, as my time is limited these days, especially for the coming school year. However, I thought I'd say hello none the less.

Since...leaving...a few years ago, I have -

Moved to San Antonio.

Got Married

Went back to school full time.

I am 2 semesters from graduating with a 4.0 and a BFA in Performance and Production from Texas State University, with the hopeful possibility of transitioning into their MFA directing program next fall.

Got into Warhammer Fantasy and 40k. I do commission painting from time to time now.

Did a bunch of work as a professional fight choreographer, taught Stage Combat at the University level (which kickstarted my commitment to go back to school), did a national tour, recorded a third CD, and more or less stopped doing MMOs (although SWTOR and Neverwinter sometimes draw my attention).

It's been a good few years (two? Don't remember when I last posted here). Tough, but good.

My wife recently got hired as a master teacher at our new city wide Pre K program and is finally being paid something resembling what she's worth. She's already been picked to set up a model classroom for the other teachers. It's good stuff.

Hmmm...what else? We bought our first new car recently - 2013 Kia Soul. Flipping love it. Got a dog. She's awesome. Went through the refi process on our house. Saved us a ton of cash, but was irritating to go through. So...many...signatures...

This year's goal is to work hard on dropping a bunch of weight, getting into solid shape, and then trying to see who I need to sleep with to get an audition for one of the new Star Wars films. Ok, the sleep with part isn't really true.

Seriously. Not true.

Not sure when I'll get to Pennsic next, to be honest. If I happen to win Queens some time this spring I'll be obligated to go. It's a lot farther now than it used to be.
