*snuggles* It is crisp jacket weather and the leaves are crunching underfoot or skittering and rolling around. The smell, look, and feel of autumn is well entrenched in my soul and with it I offer warm snuggle hugs all around as a brief respite from the jacket or windbreaker. Drink up the hot apple cider, the cocoa, the tea. Sit by an outdoor fire or lose one's self in a corn maze. Carve a pumpkin with kids and get your hands gloopy and sticky. Enjoy the season - on average you'll only get 70 some of them. |

It is my favorite time of the year. Crisp air, colors everywhere, football, soccer, Elysian Night Owl Pumpkin Ale and a little Maple Crown to top it off. |

Made a fire Sunday night and sat in the cool night air for almost an hour thinking of nothing but cool night air and fire. Mmmm, fall/autumn. Also, I attribute my firemaking skills to Elmo. |

Still waiting on the wonderful Autumn-ness down South. It gets a little cool at night, but it still isn't here yet. Too hot and sticky during the daytime.........bugs still thrivin'. Blech. |
