What do 'those darn kids' mean when they say Random, especially with adoration, almost worshipfulness in their voice. Do any of them understand the word? I heard it at the Jefferson Memorial, well, down in the parking lot, used something like (tone of awe) "It was so random dude, it was beautiful."

Hmm. I don't know, either -- I haven't heard that before. I've hit "those darn kids" stage before 30!

I've been in that stage since I hit 20. I just don't understand teenagers anymore and I'm only 25.

Well that's what it means according to the Urban Dictionary w/ all of its predictable misspellings and curse words included. I never heard it used as slang, but I don't get out much! =P

Reminds me of a friend of mine, who is quite fond of saying "the truly sarcastic thing ..." as in "the truly sarcastic thing about Left 4 Dead is that if a smoker's got you, you can't do anything about it yourself. One of your teammates has to get you free".
I keep wanting to show him the definition of 'sarcastic' and ask how any of the things he has described in that manner actually fit ... but I can't bring myself to do it.
