Big earthquake there, please pray for them. They're gonna need it in the days to come.

That is hardly representative of how Christians act or think.

While I agree with you, Pat Robertson isn't helping the image any. See hellfire for the quote, but yeah. This lady's just another racist douchenozzle.

I don't think he's being an *******. I think he's challenging her calling herself Christian: she says so herself on the most recent tweet.

But who cares what she thinks, she's just some slut with a decent rack who sucks dick to get attention. Since she does, it's no suprise that she stirs the shitpot on the internet and creates drama to get attention. Someone should tweet her back that the goal and point in life is not to see how many dicks you can ride before you die.

As the pic is blocked form work, I am curious what it is that Lenas has posted that has stirred the pot.

I'd venture that's not the only thing fake about her, either.

Molly Shepherd. Okay looking white woman, decent looking but most likely plastic rack, push up bra, low front gray shirt, holding a bud light to her lips. Quotes from her twitter account typical of black and french hating trailer trash.

Basically insensitive intentionally ignorant bullcrap put out there to get a rise out of people. /ignore.

I'm really not huge on spending a bunch of money we don't have on a country whose recovery doesn't strongly impact global economics.

That said, I feel for the people of Haiti, they were already in a shitty country... now it's hell.

If we're going to inflate and spend, might as well give them some money ... TBH, I'd rather the help go to them than people here trade their clunkers for cars they can't afford with money they don't have, or prop up artificial real estate prices.

But my guess is, we'll do both. This is shaping up to be a huge mess.

I didn't attack anyone or start a debate, merely reposted something that had been all over the internet yesterday. Though, I suppose if I wanted to make a Hellfire-esque comment, I could say something about the bigotry this woman was raised with - from an assumed Christian family/congregation.

Flattery won't get you anywhere, Aegnor Strongbow.

As an aside, while I feel bad about what happened to the people, I generally agree with her about the not helping thing. We have a hole to dig ourselves out of, still.

Personally, I'd prefer private entities jump in to help, such as Christian organizations. But thanks to the level of taxation that we in America experience, the resources are more likely to be present in government agencies. Sad, but a reality of the world we live in now.

That said, one of the saddest examples of Christianity I've seen lately (IMO) is the church groups from the US who were there when the quake hit, but left asap for home. IMO, Christians should have been there and stayed there as long as possible. It's hard for me to be too critical, because there are likely to be circumstances of which I am unaware, but it does not look right to me.

Still, we can pray and donate and help in whatever way we can.

Here we go again. Only people of YOUR faith should have stayed?

Now, discounting the fact that they're probalby not equiped to deal with earthquake relief and would only serve as a drain on very limited resources (and would be in the way)--a group that WAS set to be a net contributor to the situation, why would you (by omission) imply that other groups had no obligation to help?

Humanitarians come from all faiths and creeds. You want to complain about how some people run you down for your faith, you do the same for the rest of us by implying that the rest arent possibly as good a people as you are.

I don't think that's what he was trying to say, man. Bery and I usually don't see eye-to-eye on many things, but I don't think he meant to say what you think he did.

Way to misunderstand what I said. In no way did I say that only Christian organizations do humanitarian relief. Should I have listed every single organization that exists, just to keep someone from getting their undies in a wad? If I list 100, but leave out X number, would that have satisfied you? Gimme a break.

Send me a fully comprehensive list of all organizations that do relief work, so I can list them all next time.
