No, it's not our winter guests from Canada thankfully, these perpetrators are found above the treeline in the mountains of New Zealand. The Mountain Parrot or Kea, long thought the most playful and mischievous of parrots, have now shown their darker side. Having been gang-pecked by Conures before this comes as no great surprise. Creepy, and a weird insinuation at the end of that clip. "Is the kia a rogue bird or an innocent led into crime?" I blame the bird! |
