I hope you all won't mind me putting this here, but I'm not sure that any other forum fits.

Tomorrow, I go into the hospital for an angiogram, since my angina is worsening, seemingly almost daily. They're gonna take a good look then decide if they want to do another stent or if I am in need of bypass surgery.

While I do have lots of folks who will be praying for me, I would ask of my friends here that you pray for me, also, if you have a mind to. I would really appreciate it, since I am dependant on God to get me through. As I always am.

Thank you to everyone who takes a minute or even just a few seconds, and may God bless you a hundred-fold for the kindness you show me.

Such surgeries are commonplace nowadays, but things can and do still go wrong. My heart attack was caused by something going wrong on the operating table. So was my stroke the day before. So I don't take such things for granted. However, I know God loves me and I do not believe that He is finished with me here yet. I still have so much growing to do.

Anyway, thank you. :)

Nurses are glad to have me as a patient. No matter how grumpy I get, I do not take it out on them, I do the very best I can to be pleasant to them. Yeah, so what if I feel grumpy, they are there to do a job to help me recover, not to be a target for any emotional unpleasantness. I have found that nurses appreciate a kind word or a pleasant attitude. "Sorry to bother you, but I need.... please" makes your stay in the hospital much better than "...grumble, grumble, gripe, gripe...."

My grandmother was a nurse for 45 years. There is much truth here.

Bet better soon sir.

Oh yes! It is a good idea to be kind to your nurse ...we decide which French foley you will have and soft wrist or leather! 8-)

Or you come in with 2years of beard growth and leave with a soul patch...

And best of all..the call light can have technical difficulties!
