[tangent]It's 34 degrees outside, was flurrying yesterday and is supposed to snow this weekend. Thanks to the wonderful associative powers of the brain, Mambo No. 5 immediately made me think of a day almost ten years ago, driving on Torrey Pines Rd in San Diego, kinda following the coast from Solana Beach down to La Jolla, in a convertible with the top down, and fresh sea air and the sun shining... Love how music can be such a big part of indelible imprints that moments make in your life! :) [/tangent]

Del Amitri, Roll to Me. Funny thing about that is that I have 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz stuck in my head and had a hell of a time not singing it to that tune. And Tainted Love is by Soft Cell.

I wouldn't classify the Femmes as a one hit wonder. Had to chuckle that you said "Kiss Off" was from a compilation album (Add it Up), and not from their first album: Violent Femmes. It seems to me that "Kiss Off" wasn't even their most popular song, that'd be "Blister in the Sun"; I don't even think "Kiss Off Charted". Sorry if that came off a little anal, but they'll always be a "local band" to me.
