So I'm raking my brain for places that will hire with little to no fuss for a crappy overnight gig to supliment my income with. Now that work at Zales is no longer utterly miserable, I can get by with a second job if I can find it. So I'm trying to list all of the posibilities that come to mind, but the list is distressingly short lol 7-eleven Wal-Mart (might be tough, that was my first job ever and I was recorded as a walk-off the job) Khols Stop-n-Shop CVS Brooks - anybody wanna suppliment my list? |

Waitressing/bartendering....depending on where you go you make great tips and can generally get hired fairly quickly. Waffle house sounds like a bad gig but I made really good money there as my first job when I entered the work force. I worked the overnight shift and always came home with wads of cash...more than enough to pay my bills at the time. |

Waiting at catered events is good money but inconsistent and the hours vary. |

Some you might not have considered. Do you sew? Make costumes for the SCA people you know who would be willing to pay rather than learn how to sew themselves. Dogwalking? On Long Island you may find people so busy they will pay you to walk their dogs. Check with the local colleges to see if their art classes are looking for nude models? Curves are a big plus when getting paid to have people stare at you and draw. Food demos? Think of all the times you've been out and about and had people making food for customers to sample, Costco, exhibitions, conferences, supermarkets. |

Actually, the nude modeling is not as great as you might think...I did that during college and it paid $10 an hour and it was only for a couple of hours a week. |

The reason the night shift at the waffle house made good cash is because of all the later nighters who came in with a severe case of the munchies. No better place to quench that appetite. Just my 2 cp. |

A lot of companies demo their own food at the bigger stores, you get in doing occasional demos with a small company they are more likely to work with your schedule, or at least let you know well ahead of time when they are going to need you so you can schedule around it. |

A few that come to mind: - call centers (gag) - dispatching - security (home or business) - home health care - nursing/healthcare assistant - news paper/advertisement delivery - shipping companies - any place local that does 24/7 operations (which there should be hudnreds if not thousands in your area) Edit: because Michael posted right behind me and I almost never get it right the first time. |

You could also do Promo work. Such as the person who drives the Red-Bull truck/car/wagon/thing. |

Yes, those are generally marketing or consumer research companies that do those. My mother-in-law used to do it as a second job - she loved it, got to meet people, hang out in different stores, etc. The catch, such as it is, is that you need in some cases to provide your own microwave or toaster oven, etc., if you have samples that need to be heated. But, you can get by with the $50 microwave, if you need to, just might cut into your income at first. |

I've done some painting modeling (not nude) and what I noticed is that everyone pays exceptional attention to your flaws (unique features) because, well, they are unique. So they tend to be slightly exhageratted in an amatuer class. Like cartoon-exhaggerated. |

Well if your looking for an evening job there is always "Escort" jobs One of the best jobs I had way back when I was in school was a security job gig, I was at a construction site to make sure no one stole tools and such at night. No one around, every so often i would make rounds and the rest of the night I did homework. If you had something like that you could have time to work on other things or even read. |

Define "quick." As in, you don't need qualifications to do them? Are we talking part time here? Look for your regional tissue bank and work as a processing technician. |

we are talking most likely a night job as I dont want it to interfere with my current job. Also, something part time so I'm not working 8- hours a week lol. I just need an easy, low stress supplimentary income to help pay the bills |
