Philadelphia was fun, spent time with Foamy, Oonagh and a little time with Sean. Foamy and Oonagh took me sightseeing. I saw the things I wanted to see most, had a Philly Cheesesteak, Cheezewhiz? Really Philly? Sigh. Left the City of Brotherly Love and took a 6+ hour train ride to Boston, now nicely settled in at the Comfort Inn. Tomorrow, I''ll see the waterfront, the Constitution (the ship) and hopefully meet a couple of us for dinner.

While riding the train up, just in the way the seating was arranged, I saw a lovely young lady, pouting, for most of the train ride. She was seated next to folks she didn't know who all seemed to be friends, two girls and a guy, all probably 20+ years older than her. No one was paying attention to her. She was pretty hot and this is probably not something she is used to.

Life goes on.

I'll add more tomorrow.

Boston is fun. There's a lot of stuff to see up here.

I'm live about 5 miles from the Constitution.

Perhaps next time Telloran.

I had a lovely dinner and conversation with Sasandra. Lex thought better of the energy he didn't have to commit to driving three hours round trip and decided to pass. Sasandra looks amazingly like her pictures. I'll post one later.

Nice dinner at Boston Beerworks, right across the street from Fenway park. Their Bluebeery beer is served with fresh Maine blueberries. I broke my normal rules and had one, then a nut brown ale later. Both were very good.

Sightseeing in Boston is tiring, mostly because there is so much to see and its fairly spread out. I broke down and bought a hop on hop off style tour bus ticket. Saw a lot, didn't take nearly enough pictures.

People are nice, even if they do talk a little funny. I'm sure they would think the same thing if they visited the west coast.

Up early tomorrow, fly then drive.

I'm really really sorry that I couldn't make it!! I was just very out of it today... hardly slept last night. I literally got home from work and sat around and napped all day. I'm also a noob at getting into Boston by myself. It's scary for me, and I don't like driving in general after totaling 2 cars. So that and the lack of energy. I regret not going, but I couldn't really make myself today. =\

Well I should hope I look amazingly like my pics since the most recent one was taken just over a week ago :p

Was fun having dinner with you, and even giving you the experience of Boston bumper to bumper traffic because no trip to Boston is completely without that ;) lol

I am so SO glad somebody else feels this way.

The real question I want to know is - did you choose Pat's or Geno's?

Unfortunately, neither. Our options were limited since we took the train in and didn't feel like paying a small fortune in cab fare. We didn't make it there.

We had lunch in the Bourse building and the cheesesteak was from a generic sandwich grill like you'd find in a mall.
