Okay how much are you getting back/paying?

Standard deduction was going to make me pay like $250. Itemized deductions brought me to getting 5-large back. Thank goodness for charitable giving and tuition expenses.

Not sure, scared to find out. Three 1099 contracts (untaxed) and two jobs taxed with me claiming zero. Hoping they'll all even out; have $700 or so set aside, hoping I wont have to pay it all back.

$3300 or so, which was better than last year (about $6000) - reducing withholding helped.

I'll find out tomorrow, but the online thing and H&R block said that even with claiming 3 kids, we'd still owe $30.
We don't even make that much money, really. Sucks. As a single parent going to college I always got a few grand back.
Its like being penalized for finally getting your education and getting married. Stupid taxes.

Far better to owe than to get money back. I don't like granting interest free loans.

LK,
Seems like you're doing your taxes nearly perfectly, if the outcome is -$30.

$77 return. It's going towards our trip; not that it'll put a dent in it.

Sounds good to me actually...my husband's ex "let us" claim both kids on the condition that she is entitled to whatever refund we get.

That's more than the two digits you'd like to give them.

One on each hand.
