We're expecting rain this weekend, The weather's been screwy so far this year. Its trending upwards, and may get consistently into the 70's by the end of March.

Might be worthwhile to bring a jacket, or something similar depending on your tolerance for cooler weather in case we get another stupid moisture bearing cold front passing through.

Today, its in the low 50's and not expected to get much above that. I'll post again nearer the end of the month is you bump this and *remind* me ;)

Hehe, thanks Mus. I do plan on bringing a light waterproof windbreaker, just in case. Last time we were there in March was several years ago. It was very windy and cold, and I didn't have a jacket. Ended up buying one before the trip was over.

Hmm...I may actually be in the area as well for this, around the middle of April.

If so, I expect Glade meetings. This do I decree!

Now
A strong cold front will continue to push through southern Nevada this evening. An abrupt increase in winds should be anticipated with the passage of the front...with wind gusts reaching 45 to 55 mph. The winds will push into the Las Vegas Valley from the northwest...reaching the Las Vegas strip between 630 and 700 PM. Blowing dust and sand and reduced visibilities should also be expected. Wind speeds will then decrease slightly and settle generally between 15 and 25 mph overnight.

But that's the internet. You can't trust the internet. Not like you can trust what you see on the TV, or read in the newspaper. So, clearly, the more reliable source is to ask somebody with access to the local TV and papers.

No...clearly the more reliable source is someone that has lived in the area for some years and knows pretty much what the weather CAN be at a given point in time during the year! You will notice in my first post I asked what the weather "normally is during the last part of March, first part of April". I could have gone to www.weather.com but then I wouldn't be having a nice conversation with Mus, darksiege, FarSky, Lydiaa, you, and Aizle now would I? :D
