My wound is no longer seeping out wound-juice. I may wake up with a dry bandage. Oh I'm a little out of it, been up since 5 am and am in that too tired to sleep thing. Im happy though. |

Hopwin wrote: What is the difference between "wound-juice" and blood? Wounds seep a clearish liquid that's part of the healing process. Not sure exactly how it works, but I'm guessing that's the "juice" Elm's referring to. So, what happened, Elm? |

Wow totally didn't remember writing this. I went to a protest/concert in Philly. We parked where the march would end up, I was wearing my old army boots with insufficiently thick socks and laces not tightened enough. I ended up wearing a blister, and then scraping it popped, and then all the skin around the blister into blisters and wearing them popped...and then some by the time the event was over. My sock was blue/green from fluids mixing with the leather by the time I peeled it off. The clear liquid is indeed wound-juice. It was the first day the bandage was not completely soaked with the fluid and so I know its started to heal. I can also wear normal shoes and the bandage doesnt slide over the exposed skin-deprived flesh anymore. Go neosporin cause its not infected. |

Look for some stuff call duoderm..I am pretty sure it is OTC, it's just like a second skin and can save you if you rub a blister up. So painful to get one and have to walk on it rubbing ...ugh! |
