I'm another "Gift of God." My mom actually knew that when she named me. Middle name means "Freeholder" in ancient Germanic. Cool.

So ... I'm the usurper who looks like God?

Oh, btw ... with a name like "Katrina Gale", I'd stay away from New Orleans. Just sayin'

They don't have my name unless I misspell it, which I won't, so screw it! I'm tired of people not knowing how to spell my name, especially since some have known me for a great many years! Lazy sons of *****!!

Jacqueline is a feminine form of the French name Jacques which is based on the Hebrew name Jacob. Jacob has two meanings, "May God Protect" and "Supplanter." (The latter is because of the biblical story in which Jacob 'supplanted' his twin brother Esau's position as Isaac's heir and the forefather of the Messiah.)

First man from the crags. I don't know what my last name means, but it's also not my real family name. A paternal ancestor changed his when he came to America to escape British police, and there's some debate over what the original surname actually was.

Yeah, that's what I have found for mine in many, many different books. I thought that was kind of a lame cop-out.

Then a found a few sources also stating it means "Wanderer." So I incorporated that into my ranger persona I created almost 20 years ago: The Wandering Ranger.
