Piston was in response to Honda, Piston Honda was a fighter in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! Holyfield had an infamous run-in with Mike Tyson.
The "Piston that got Liston" was Ali.

And its an association thing. Supposed to be the first thing that pops into your head. Doesn't necessarily need to be logical.
