Centipedes always have an odd number of leg pairs.

The temperature must be 64 degrees before a grasshopper can jump.

Only 1:100,000 calico cats are male (the rest are female.)

The are an average of 50,000 spiders per acre.

I knew that most Calico cats are female, just didn't quite know the numbers. I think, similarly, most orange tabbies are male.

To tie-in with the spider thing:
I can't remember the exact number but I remember hearing something like, 'you are never more than 3 feet from a spider'...

I remember thinking 'damn. even on a plane? wtf?'
