| Post subject: | Dog Names...help! |
We got a puppy. We needed one. She is a Siberian Husky and we don't have a name for her yet: Attachment: dog.jpg [ 17.32 KiB | Viewed 1370 times ] We've thought of a few things but nothing sticking. We don't want a little girls name and we don't want some generic dog name like Daisy either. Luna, Nevada, and Cleo are a few that we've thought of. It needs to be something that the dog could understand and something cool and meaningful. Suggestions? |

Kodiak Shhhh (Shhh, come here... and Siberian Husky somewhat monograms it) Ghost (Think StarCraft... something says she'll be a sneaky one) Sasha (+1, nice suggestion) Nevada (+1 - nickname Nev... and then her droppings would be Vegas so when she swallows something you can say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...") BK (C'mon, too easy...) Whopper (See above) Urway (Urals are one of the borders of Siberia and you can say "Alright, have it, Urway..." when giving up on rope tugging) |

Hmm, Natasha Oxsana Anya Koshka Katerina Larra Fedora (really, its a Russian girls name) Ludmilla Lydia Lenora Magda Marta Lots of good Russian girls names no one uses too. |

Would Battle Mountain be when she is playing tug of war? Sparks for when she is chasing the other pets? Gardnerville for when she is digging your vegetables up? You could go on for a while like that. |

She still looks like Sasha to me! and thank you Micheal for the stroll down memory lane...I went to school in Minden/Gardnerville when I was in first and second grade! My youngest brother was born in Carson City and my dad worked for the James Canyon Ranch in Genoa ( last I heard was owned by Harrah's).

Jasmy, I was pushing for Sasha but lost because NF thought it was "too cliche" hahaha! I like Nevada though too, so its all good. |

My brother-in-law had a malemute named Sasha...great dog, great with kids and very protective. Your little girl looks like her only smaller! Nevada is a good name too, though. I've always loved Nevada!
