historyteachers has posted a plethora of music videos done to relatively famous rock and pop songs. Beowulf is featured above. I'm going through a few of them now, kind of a fun way to look at the history and to get it across to kids today.

Just curious why they used scenes from the 13th warrior instead of Beowulf.

The 13th Warrior is the movie version of Michael Critchton's book Eaters of the Dead, which is a retelling of the Beowulf story. I haven't seen the movie 'Beowulf', but I recall the The 13th Warrior being a faithful adaptation of the novel. My guess is that The 13th Warrior is probably a more faithful rendering of the Beowulf story than the movie of the same name.
