This is a live accoustic version of one of my favorite songs by what is quickly becoming my new favorite band. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Heard this song a couple of months ago on the radio. Loved it the first time I heard it. Haven't taken the time to give a listen to any of their other stuff yet.

I suspect it'll take more than that.

No, actually, that did it. :P

Little Lion Man

Dustbowl Dance

They're incredible live. I didn't get to see the show they played here in Nashville, but I did get to see a small, pre-show set that they put on right before their main concert ('twas free, too). So very awesome.

I'm in the process of finding their label contact information to get their music videos to play in our AAA/Americana show.

Some others that live in my Mumford & Sons playlist:

Ray LaMontagne (particularly his latest album, "God Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise"
Jakob Dylan's latest, "Women and Country"
Fleet Foxes' eponymous album

And my newest favorites, The Civil Wars (LISTEN TO THEM):

Ah, but did it really? Or did it prompt somebody else to do more than that?

Enjoyed the video, but I was more excited about the fact that it reminded me of Trampled By Turtles.

Simply by observing the comment, you created Farskee's reality.

In any event, glad to see your avatar around here again. Much easier than other communication avenues.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the subject matter of the song. They sing from the vantage point of God, looking down on his creation.

Many of the songs on their album play host to ruminations on spirituality, and it's quite beautiful and refreshing.

I just heard Little Lion Man for the first time on the radio last night on my way to church.
I actually had to google the lyrics to find out the name of the song and who sang it.
Thanks for the posting the video. I think I'm in love with the lead singer.

They played a small acoustic show at the hotel I work at. There's videos online of most of the songs they played at the show here.

I got the see the setup and the actual show.

I've heard 5 or 6 of their songs, and they all sound nearly identical.

I love them...NF and I saw them in New Orleans last year.

Horrible video though...whose awful idea was that??

The video could be better...but why didn't I make this connection before?...

Not to imply that the song is about Tyrion, but it fits pretty well. I'll think of him every time I hear this song from now on...
