Christmas was amazing! I was able to make it home to my parents place at the last minute, in very unexpected circumstances. Pulled in to the drive way at just before 11pm on Christmas Eve

Funniest thing I ever heard on the Larry King show was a guy who called in just to say that, then hung up.

Made it through, had a pretty nice day. The mothers came over, kids went into sugar- and present-induced hyperdrive, the smoked turkey breast came out very well. Everyone was happy, no major perturbances. I'd do it again next year ...

Holy shitsnacks!

We did everything on Christmas Eve, but my sister and her kids got to go to my bro in law's parents house for Christmas day. Had a lot of fun, only 2 tantrums from the youngest nephew because he wouldn't take turns opening, and thus ran out of presents before everyone else. Basically didn't sleep for a little over 24 hours, spent Xmas day in bed. Now at work waiting for patients :p
