As most of you probably know, my parents show dogs. So, my mother has 4 Japanese Chins. They are little lap dogs with long flowing hair. They look really...girly, I guess. Anyway, we got this one about 2 years ago. His name is Timmy and he is supposedly one of the best examples of the breed ever(to hear my mother talk about him, anyway). So, he became a champion last year. When this happens, you have to do a DNA test to make sure the dog's papers are legit and everything. The woman we bought him from said his father was a dog, but it turned out to be another dog. My mother was worried for a while, but it all turned out fine. This process took about a year and during that time, he wasn't allowed to be shown. Once it was all settled, he was ready to start showing again. But since the move and such, my parents don't have enough time or money to go around showing dogs very often. So, my mom sent Timmy to a friend of hers so that she could show Timmy instead.

This woman really loves the dogs and she is super rich apparently(she was also on that show on Animal Planet titled "The Groomer Has It" and I think she got 3rd place or something). Anyway, she has a lot of spare time so she's taking Timmy around the country to show him. All she asks in return is a stud service(because she also apparently thinks Timmy is the most awesome Japanese Chin the world). Apparently, both my mother and this woman were right about Timmy. He won some super dog show this weekend and is now the number one Japanese Chin in the country. Go figure.

Good for Timmy!

I have to admit, however, that due to the title and the dog's name, I was a little disappointed that this thread didn't involve "Timmy runs into furniture all the time, and tries to swallow sticks. He's 'special;' I call him 'Timmah' after the South Park character. I guess that's what you get when you purebreed too much."

I call him Timmah regardless. We do have a dog that is "special" in that way, though. His name is Cartman(lol) and is an english bulldog. And technically Hope(Cartman's mother) is getting rather old and her eyesight isn't quite what it used to be, so she does run into things often.
