Professor has still not provided us with a textbook definition of what Social Movement is. I like this class. I asked if the Haight-Ashbury scene would be considered part of a social movement, and the professor just got the huge grin and told me that he would ask me that near the end of class, to have me tell him my answer to that. We are starting with the book 'Freedom Summer' dealing with the Mississippi Summer Project of 1964. We were given three questions to answer on the first 65 pages of the book. We were told to keep notes as we answered the questions because each exam is an essay that needs to be between 7 to 12 pages. And Just off of this 65 pages of reading, I have 5 pages of notes. And I have still more to detail to answer the questions we were asked. And I have been creating the citations I need to prevent plagiarizing as I go. fun times... |
