I looked, I swear. I know we've done this in the past but if we've currently got one of these, I couldn't find it. I'm currently using this both at home and at work: Spoiler: |

Spoiler: It's from the new MTG set. I pulled 2 of the actual cards at the pre release this past weekend. Really liked the look of it when it was first spoiled. |

I haven't used a static wallpaper in a few years. I use the rotating wallpaper option of Windows 7, and I generally do them in themes. Currently I have 77 pictures in rotation that are all sailing ships from the 17th and 18th centuries. Prior to that I had 76 pictures that were all dragons, either taken from book covers, stand-alone art, D&D artwork from books, etc. Here are some pictures from each. Spoiler: Spoiler: A really nice site with a megaload of wallpapers is desktopnexus.com. |

I've been using this one for a few years now--my oldest at the controls of an MC-130P Combat Shadow. I just like it too much and I can pretend that I intended the cool reflection off his sunglasses. I do wish the resolution of the camera on my phone had been better. Spoiler: |

Same one I've used for a very long time now... and I still love it very much. One of my favorite photographs that aren't of the "whoa that's cool!" variety that wouldn't stand the test of time once the novelty wears off. Spoiler: |

I usually pick something pretty, either a picture I've taken, or something from the National Geographic pic of the day. Right now I have this up on my home machine: Spoiler: |

I use two. The first one I've had for years, had it posted on the Penny Arcade forums. I love it because its so clean and simple and a cool setting in my mind. The second is a photo given to me by the lovely Kirra. She had actually sent me a different photo of the ferris wheel that she took that I really enjoyed and asked for the original for the background on my laptop. She sent me this one and I just love it. The contrast is wonderful and its so neat because if you look closely there is a lot going on that spans a large timeline (such as you can see a construction crane, but also a church spire and old school lamps), sort of giving it a "day in the life of a Parisian", but at the same time there is only one person in the field and not much in the foreground so the photo has a real clean feel to it. But by far the coolest part is the highlights on the lamps. To be honest I didn't catch that when she first sent it to me, but it was a nice surprise when I saw them! As you can see by this photograph, and the Irish one above this, she is an excellent photographer!

This Linking rather than posting because there's a lot of good options there to improve or add to a rotation. |
