The sweet holidays, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Halloween, are not commercially invented holidays, just commercially enhanced ones. While she is still and should always remain your girlfriend, I think the current relationship descriptor is fiancee. You have time to prep, get to it.

Politically correct language is a PITA. Relationship language being correct is a whole new labyrinth. Usually the best time you have to reflect on that and learn from your mistakes is when you are either sleeping on the couch or feeling about 6 inches tall.
