The homeowner also called the police to report that he had found a man in the house.

It wouldn't surprise me one little bit if breaking into someone's house to make and sammich and take a shower was perfectly legal in Oregon.

Well according to a game I played the crook should have died of dysentery well before getting into the home he was trying to break into...

As a former Oregonian, I can say that if it wasn't legal before, this case will set a precedent and a law will soon be passed that orders all homeowners to provide tresspassers with a hot shower and a sammich.
And a cup of coffe. In a biodegradable, non-styrofoam container. ;)
