I'm not sure if this should go in Entertainment, Fitness, or our Deathwish forum. Abandoned walkway in southern Spain I think the phrase I'm looking for is, "No way in hell" would I walk on that. And I'm willing to take a fair amount of risk in my life. (Actually, it may not be so bad if you're a climber and have equipment - you can see one guy clipping a carabiner attached to a harness to a cable running along the side. Still, can't do that for the whole route, and some of that cement looks terrifyingly fragile. The other scary thing is that Angelfire still exists. Wasn't aware of that. |

It looks like a first person shooter map with really good graphics. |

Hmm. It looks like the safety cable runs the whole way. There were only a few shots where I couldn't see it, and they were very down-angled ones, so I figure it's just out-of-frame. |

Could be, Kaffis, yeah. I only watched it once. And yes, it reminded me of some first-person shooter that I played a demo of once. Can't remember the name, though. |

I wonder what that would cost to purchase and restore. |

Maybe, if I were depressed enough and wanted it to look like an accident. |

That was so cool! Funny...I won't ride a roller coaster, but I would walk that. In a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing that, Aethien, I love the way they shot the video. |

She's married to a guy who sneaks around flashing his Whopper at people, and you think she's got the death wish? |

Every time I see this thread all I can think is: |

That is so scary, my employer blocked the website so that my productivity wouldn't be affected by my curling up under my desk in the fetal position and whimpering softly. |

Imagine a Parkour run through that walk? |

He did a video of a ride along these seaside cliffs in Ireland that feature a 2-foot path with a 400-foot vertical drop off the side. And wind. Ocean winds. Utterly insane, I'll see if I can find it. Ah, got it. He did it on the Cliffs of Moher. Here's a still, but there's also a video somewhere. Double-no way in hell, and I ride a mountain bike. |

I did a ridge hike in Hawaii when I was there a couple weeks ago, it was crazy. Long sections of trail that were 10 inches wide with thousand foot drops on both sides. Did I mention the wind was blowing at about 30 mph? This was on the windward side of Oahu. I felt like I was going to be blown of multiple times; don't know that I've been that scared for my own life before, haha. |

This is from that same site, if you haven't seen it, really amazing footage of a downhill bike race in Chile! EDIT: Grabbed from address bar, link fixed. Thanks for the info FS. |

Their "share" link is shortened due to the ubiquity of character-limited social sites like Twitter and Facebook. You have to grab the link from the address bar now. |

Thanks for the info FS. OK, that's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Too many opportunities for catching a tire and packing it in, not to mention dogs and other random **** walking across the path. I'm such a chicken-shit. |
