When using any public bathroom with an autoflusher triggered by proximity, I almost always find a way to block or interfere with the sensor so as to prevent any premature flushes while still atop the throne. I will either wrap the "eye" with TP or perhaps place my cap over it. Anyone else, or am I the only one? |

Are you really active on the throne? I don't remember any time I've ever had a "premature flush". Maybe if you bend over to pick up your pants off the floor? I guess also if you're really skinny maybe you could lean left or right and get out of the beam. |

I have been on some where the sensor is just that sensitive that a lean forward was enough to set it off. |

So....why do you do that, Foamy? Are you wary of the backsplash, don't like your relaxation interrupted by the sudden deafening roar, or are you just really irked that your poo might disappear before you get a chance to survey your work?? |

LOL at your comment about "surveying my work", but no. Wary of the backsplash would be the correct answer here. I have gotten one too many undercarriage washings so I prevent this by disabling the flush until I am clear. |

I passed my arm up to scratch my neck at a urinal at work the other day and set off the flush in the process. Nowhere to go in that situation! I sympathize. |
