I was cleaning out a closet and found a cardboard tube that I hadn't seen since sometime around 1992.
Inside, I found a signed 24"x33" print of a B-1B called "Power", painted by Dru Blair.
I got this as a gift when I was working at the Pentagon doing IT type work for the PR group there during Gulf War 1.0, and had completely forgotten about it...
The artist (Dru Blair) sells this on his website for $65
http://drublair.com/power.htmlApparently it's one of the most popular pieces of aviation art in terms of sales. (he has a lot of neat stuff on his website if you like that sort of thing)
Edit:
Wow, just browsing his site. He does some pretty realistic looking paintings...
These are NOT photos
There are more at his site. Pretty cool stuff...
Edit Again:
Oh MAN! This looks JUST like the flight line at McChord when I worked there. That scene is exactly what I saw every morning on my way to work for five years.
It's creepy! (I might have to pick this one up!)
