Less kick than his .357 IMO, and way more fun. Makes bigger holes too. His first shot he goes, "Well, they advertise it as point and shoot home defense," raises it one-handed at the body-shape target about 10ft away, and clicks with barely any aiming at the center-mass. 3 torso hits and 2 face hits with the 5, 000 shots. Dead bad guy? Then he actually aimed with a few. I got the last shot in and decided to see what happens if you try to go for the face with this gun. Answer? You hit the people behind your target. Anyways, fun times. It's the golden gun at 10ft, fa sho. |

That thing was specifically designed to be used while inside a car and getting jacked or otherwise threatened. I was going to buy a Taurus 24/7 Pro, but there were too many bad stories about the magazines and the gun itself jamming rounds on feeds and ejections (nosedives and "stove pipes" respectively). I ended up with my Springfield Armory Glock knockoff, which I enjoy very much. I hope to get a USP one day. |

This thing decent for home defense? I've read mixed opinions out there. |

Some people I've read say basically it doesn't achieve enough "stopping power" to be efficient at home defense. After having seen it fired and the dispersioni of the shots, I have to say that 5 shots to the chest, even if shallow, are going to handle the bad guy well enough in my book. Then again, I am not kind of expert whatsoever. |

Those are the same kind of people that insist you need the stopping power of a .38 Magnum indoors, IMO. Maybe a 410 shotgun shell isn't exactly artillery, but keep in mind you've got a whole cylinder you can rattle off, probably with gaurunteed decent accuracy at close quarters. |

Yeah I assume that unless your "personal home defense" is against a SWAT assault, this thing will handle the job. |
