As chance would have it, the stars are aligning and after nearly 8 years living <30 minutes drive from DragonCon I think I'll finally be going. Both of my brothers (and my sister, though I don't know if she will want to go) will be visiting, Hurricane IRENE isn't producing that much work for us (yet) so I should have the time off and we have already discussed going. We'll see what happens. if anyone is hard up for a room, they are welcome, but I'll warn you there will be a house full of guests (thank goodness it's big and we have lots of places to sleep).
