Just picked this thing up on sale, it got here today, and it's awesome. Quite a bit harder to fly than I thought, and pay attention to their caution about fans/Air Conditioners, because when it hits a draft it's rapidly spinning blades flying at your face. :)

I've been doing precision landings on various things in my house. No major damage yet (although I'm surprised the plastic blades of the chopper haven't broken yet). Small adjustments are key!

Those things are fun. I have a super cheap one (under 10 bucks) that still flies pretty good.

Had a blast with mine for quite a while, but got tired of feeding it 6 AA batteries that didn't last more than a couple of days worth of flight.

That and the rotors seemed to lose some power and now it doesn't fly so well.

I graduated to one of these:

So awesome. I need a bigger yard to fly this thing, though.

I have that same chopper, only yellow. My bother gave it to me for my most recent birthday. I think they are pretty fun; our dogs are not in agreement.

Careful Foamy..

NYC has a SAM with your name on it!

And now that someone threatened to blow up the capital with an R/C airplane, you can expect bans on this kind of thing soon!
